I can't remember where the original image came from on the internet - but I saved it back in 2018 as it made me laugh, knowing the frustration involved transporting harps. 20th February 2025 Dear Harpists, We have made the decision to stop selling sheet music and music downloads. This covers not only general sheet music publications, but also manuscripts from the Clive Morley Collection. This archive contains many items of sheet music originally collected by Joseph George Morley (1847–1921) and were subsequently edited by David Watkins and made available to harpists. We are delighted that Tim Creighton Griffiths and his business “Creighton's Collection” will be able to continue to offer these pieces to harpists around the world. Creighton's Collection was founded in July 2003 and they are dedicated to selling all types of harp music:- classical, traditional, folk, jazz, contemporary and experimental. They also have a selection of non harp music from independent musicians and composers. In addition Tim also publishes and prints high quality sheet music for many independent harpists. We have known Tim for many years and seen his dedication to the harp at many festivals and harp congresses around the world. Tim is also able to ship overseas – however as per his website explains, any import vat or duty is charged by the purchasers own customs, so be careful if buying gifts for someone else. Come along and try the harp for the first time! Our Hands on Harp Workshops are open to all individuals that have never played the harp before, as well as those who just want to come along to see what the harp is all about. You can learn elementary technique and have all your burning questions answered in a gentle and informal environment. The sessions are held at our showroom near Lechlade (GL7 3JG) and are led by Emily Harris, Harp Sales Assistant at Morley Harps and an experienced Professional Harpist and Teacher. All welcome.
