How Should I Take Care of My Harp's Pedals?

First, when the harp is not in use, make sure that the pedals are all left in the flat position with all the strings in the open position. If this is not done, unnecessary force will be put on the disc and they will become more prone to breaking.

If transporting the harp at any time, take care that the pedals do not get bent in transit.Be aware that if pedal felts become worn, buzzes will appear in the natural and sharp positions. This is due to the rods becoming effectively lengthened and therefore not turning the disc forks on as far as they should.
