Queen’s Jubilee Harp Music
Celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee – Harp style!
We at Clive Morley Harps wondered how a harpist might celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. So we searched through our collection of sheet music to find something fitting the occasion – and here it is: music written over 100 years ago, for the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria.
Entitled, “Cambria’s Homage to our Empress Queen in the Year of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee, Ad. 1897″, and scored for two harps and four part choir, this rousing coronation chorus was written by Queen Victoria’s royal harpist, John Thomas.

We’d love to see the piece performed again in 2012. Any one want to have a go?
