The Clarsach Society / Comunn na Clarsaich
The Clarsach Society exists to promote Scotland’s oldest instrument instrument and to help its players. It has 11 local branches throughout the UK; a special interest group for wire strung harp enthusiasts and a HQ/central unit which operates the harp hire service and music sales. It organises the Edinburgh International Harp Festival each spring.

Cairde na Cruite / Friends of the Harp
since its establishment in 1960, Cairde na Cruite has played a central role in the revival and development of interest in the Irish harp. While its original objectives espoused the provision of expert tuition and the publication of music for the Irish harp, its mission has evolved considerably over the last 47 years and the society has made a significant contribution to the development of a vibrant dynamic role for the Irish harp.
Edinburgh Harp Festival
Annual festival offering a wide spectrum of harp music in many genres and a wonderful selection of concerts featuring many well-known performers and several brilliant newcomers. Concerts, workshops and classes cater to all levels and feature gut strung, wire strung, acoustic and electric harps – in fact everything from magnificent pedal harps to modest lap versions.

The International Harp Archives
The International Harp Archives were formally established at Brigham Young University in 1994. The archives serve as a support centre for research dealing with aspects of the harp, its music and harpists.
