We are located in Filkins on the A361 between Lechlade and Burford. We are about five miles from the A40 at Burford, between Oxford and Cheltenham.

Approximate travel times by road are: London – 90 minutes; Severn Bridge – 90 minutes; Birmingham – 50 minutes.

Driving Directions from A40 at Burford Roundabout

  1. From the roundabout outside Burford, take turning marked Lechlade on A361
  2. After approximately 5 miles, take turning on left signposted Filkins and Woollen Mill
  3. Go through village past Woollen Mill
  4. At War Memorial, turn right in front of the Church, signposted the Barringtons
  5. Follow the lane out of village, over a small white bridge
  6. Goodfellows is first house on right, with stone gateposts
  7. If you go under road bridge you have gone too far

Driving Directions from M4 at Junction 15

  1. Take A419 to Cirencester
  2. Turn off on to A361 signposted to Burford and Lechlade
  3. Follow the signs for Burford and Lechlade
  4. Approx. 2 miles after Lechlade take turning to the right marked Filkins and Brize Norton
  5. Fork left to approach the village (do not turn right towards Carterton)
  6. Take the first turing left, in front of the church
  7. Turn left again at the T-junction
  8. Follow lane out of village over small white bridge
  9. Goodfellows is first house on the right with stone gateposts
  10. If you go under road bridge you have gone too far
