Who is Who
At the core of Clive Morley Harps is its people, from the 'driving force' to the 'roving amabassador'.
Clive Morley
Clive is the driving force behind Morley Harps - and he is showing no signs of slowing down! He is committed to supporting the harp in the UK and, by making it possible for new generations of harpists to play high quality, affordable instruments, he is a key figure in the harp's recent return to popularity.
Clive has worked closely with harp teachers and colleges of music over the years - most recently, he founded the London Harp Competition.
Kate Morley
Kate handles the finances and keeps us all organised.
She keeps the "Clive Morley Collection" of music alive and ensures we have full string stocks of strings and accessories to fulfill your orders promptly.
Ben Morley
Previously employed in IT & Telecoms, Ben joined the family business in 2002.
As part of his apprenticeship for the "Worshipful Company of Musicians", Ben worked in the old Morley Piano Factory in London while growing up. With this hands on experience of musical instruments, he quickly learnt to regulate and service harps in the Aoyama harp factory in Japan.
Ben is involved with the day to day running of the business.
Clare Thompson
Clare is our Office Manager.
She keeps us all in line and ensures that the office runs smoothly from day to day.
Kathryn Cook
Kathryn is in charge of music and string orders.
She is the person who makes sure that all your queries and orders are fulfilled efficiently and promptly.
Helen Naylor-Williams
Helen Naylor- Williams BA Hons (Wales) is our Sales Manager and one of our resident Harp Teachers.
Helen, who has been working at Clive Morley Harps since 2000, has a thriving teaching practice of over 40 students and runs a Harp Ensemble of 8 harpists called HARPZ the Derbyshire Harp Ensemble.
Helen has performed in most of the leading venues in Derbyshire and Oxfordshire and is very popular as a harpist for weddings and functions. She has also completed a winter season playing at the world's largest log restaurant in Luosto, Finnish Lapland for Canterbury Travel.

Paula Smith
Paula is delighted to be Head of Communications at Clive Morley Harps.
Apart from managing our website, Paula is a professional harpist, singer and composer. Her performances have ranged from playing the harp live in front of six million people on BBC1 to playing in a babies' intensive care ward in a Dublin hospital.

David Watkins
Internationally known harpist, David Watkins, is the Curator of the Clive Morley Collection of Harp Music and Antique Harps. Thanks to David's expertise and ongoing research, the collection is proving to be a valuable resource to anyone studying the harp.
David Watkins was harpist of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and played for the great artists like Maria Callas, Joan Sutherland, Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev. He was a founder member of the New Welsh National Opera Orchestra under James Lockhart and has performed his own harp concerto with the London Philharmonic at the Royal Festival Hall. He is Professor of Harp at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and his lecture recitals are celebrated in many Countries.
